.   Elder and Sister Nye. They went on trek with the kids. This was Friday afternoon. They came to camp last night over at Hukilau Beach that's across from across the street from us.
Friends from back home, Mariah Perez and her daughter!  "Our family has been on Maui since May 28th and Sloane and I are island hopping and gonna spend a couple days in Laie to see the temple and PCC. I thought it would be fun to see you guys if worked."  (It was fun to see them for sure!)
An area Authority and his wife, Brad Wilcox and missionaries that helped with the
activity we helped with.
      Listening to Brad Willcox. Amazing!
3 Stakes with 400 kids on Trek. They came Tuesday and camped at the PCC in a large grassy area. They came Wednesday morning for a service project, that we helped with, weeding over at the PCC. (Got a lot of weeds pulled.πŸ™‚) That night they had dinner, and an amazing activity and a devotional afterwards with Brad Wilcox. (Counselor in the General Young Men's Presidency) This picture is of some of those involved in leading the activity.
  Awesome plant at the Farm!
Spent the day with the family up at Turtle Bay again, and Stephen got buried in the sand at the beach. We swam and played games too. Fun day!

We're so happy that Stephen's family came to visit for a week. They are staying at Turtle Bay in a beautiful three bedroom condo right on the ocean and by a beautiful pool. May 22nd-28th

                                  🩷
Lunch with these friends afterwards.

Went to Honolulu and went through the Bishop's Museum and then to lunch at Liliha Bakery with these wonderful missionary friends.
 Wonderful Single Sisters working here.🩷
Went on a boat ride to see if there's things we can do to beautify. It was helpful to see from this perspective. (Brent and I and 2 others were on the other end of the boat, but that picture didn't turn out.)
This cute gecko was munching on a piece of a granola bar at the farm.
These ground crew men work hard every morning to help get the PCC cleaned up for the day! We as farm crew help too! πŸ˜ƒ

This is Aunty Kapua Fonoimoana and she teaches our Sunday school class and is always cheerful and                                                           helps us feel welcome in the Ward.
CONGRATULATIONS to Hawaii’s own Iam Tongi who capped an impressive run on American Idol by finishing first in the finale’s voting, filling people with immense pride in Hawaii and Polynesia alike.
So happy to see success for a young man whose talents are only exceeded by his heart and soul. Last night American Idol season 21 concluded with a historic winner: Latter-day Saint Iam Tongi became the youngest male ever to win the show.
Tongi, an 18-year-old high school student from Kahuku, Hawaii, won over the judges and audience from his very first audition. Since his audition was posted on YouTube three months ago, it has become the most viewed audition video of the season by a long shot, with more than 16 million video views. Tongi sang “Monsters” by James Blunt and dedicated the performance to his father, Rodney, who died a few months earlier.

Tonight we were asked to be District leaders. πŸ™‚
Said goodbye to this sweet lady today at church. Her name is Jeri Black. She's moving back to Washington State. She's lived here for four years, starting out as a missionary and stayed. One of the first ones to welcome us to the ward. Going to miss her!
This 20 piece jazz band from Purdue University is at the PCC tonight playing at marketplace. They were wonderful!
7 months ago we left for our mission πŸ’•
