Sister Gonzalas' has a new companion, Sister Jensen. (She's the blonde) She just happens to be the niece of a couple in our Ward back home in Ivins. Small world!
Entrance to the luau where these BYUH students greeted the guests and later performed on the luau stage.
Ran into these two cute sisters. The one on the end was in the MTC with us. The sister next to me was in our Ward, but got transferred.
A lot of missionaries helping get the Visitor Center decorated for Christmas.🌲 I'll take another picture when it's all done.Brents doctor called Wednesday afternoon and told us to go to the ER and get checked out because he needed to have a cardioversion because his he was in AFib and his heart rate was way too high. (He has a lot of AFib!) So we drove an hour to Honolulu to the Queens Hospital and they ran a lot of tests. Then the doctor comes in and said "this test shows your having a heart attack, are you in any pain?" Brent says no. Then he says, "then I don't think you are and your AFib has stopped, so we don't need to do a cardioversion." Good news! The doctor asked if he drank alcohol or caffeinated drinks, and he said yes to caffeinated drinks, and he made him promise to never ever drink caffeinated drinks again!! 😍 All is well!
Monday night we had dinner with all the new missionaries that flew in that day. Then we went to the visitor center and watched a movie about how the PCC got started. It was awesome! Then we went outside and took a picture with everyone. (We're the third couple from the right.) We got to go because when we came, President Bassett was gone for a few days. Transfer are every 6 weeks and there's usually a big group that come at a time, but we came by ourselves. They had to change our arrival day because they didn't have an apartment for us yet. Anyways, it was really fun! Took pictures in front of the Temple last Saturday morning at 6:30 a.m. We are on the back row, kinda in the middle.
